Enter Resh. Roderick's high level spells do not work! Bigby's, however, are fine. The party reaches a dead town and hear a group of “people” in a tavern.
Erring on the side of caution, they enter a second building – which appears to be a courthouse. Scritch goes in to scout invisibly and returns to report a person “writing”.
The party enters and meets Elandril(sp?), an elf. Sadly, he turns out to be a Vampire Wizard and the party is forced to fight him (along with other sundry undeads).
After the fight, the party teleports out from under the cloud. However, Bigby is stuck in a Dimensional Lock and cannot leave. He exhausts all charges in one of his chaos wands trying to dispel the effect.
Eventually, Roderick, Pavo, and the others return. The party meets up with Inco and Mailliw and head toward the lake – where they encounter a group of flying Kobolds!
