The Tower at Larinday
The notes for this adventure are sparse (as are many from this era). They are presented here essentially as stored in my notebook – without much explanation or context.

Key to the Storm Tower in Larinday
I) Nothing unusual
II) Nothing unusual
IIIa) The door here is locked and Fire Trapped by Pelham for d4+18 pts. Also, the ladder has a trigger on one of the rungs so that when stepped on, it will break and a 2' long metal spike will protrude from under a loosed stone directly under the ladder. The person climbing must save vs. Dex at +2 on the die or fall and take 3d6 impaling damage.
IIIb) There is no visible ladder up nor even a hole. In fact, one of the stones of the ceiling is a concealed trap door. When opened (requires a strong pull), the hole down will become sealed by a sliding cover and the room will begin to be filled with a poisonous gas. Each person has 1 round to react. The poison is deadly unless a save is made; in which case 2d6 damage is taken anyway. A Slow Poison will negate all but 1 point of the damage.
IV) Once the trap door from below is opened, the continual darkness from here will leak down. In addition, the SHADOW WARRIORS will be alerted. They are AC 4, MV 9“, HD 3, #AT 1, D d3+temporary level loss. Their darkness is all-powerful in this room and can only be dispelled (vs. 18th level). Due to their ability to “see” in complete darkness, they attack normally and all others are -4 to hit. There are 4 here and they are hp 11, 11, 15, 21. They are treated as WRAITHS for turning purposes and their level drain has a saving throw (vs. poison).
Va) In here is the first guardian: A BABAU DEMON (hp 37). Its attack mode will be to grab onto a person (To Hit req'd) and teleport them outside. He has a 50gp gem.
Vb) Here is the second guardian: A MIST GIANT (hp 62). It is stupid, charmed, and will fight to the death.
VI) Here is the SHADOW CRYSTAL and its host: ELSA!
