The Aurander Islands are a pair of islands just off the Northern coast of the Cheraî “kingdom” and near to the Eastern edge of the Orc “empire”. While some view them as an extension of Cheraî, they consider themselves an independent nation.

After the wars, this independence was maintained primarily because “Orcs don't do boats”. Later, King Vyncent decided that extending his influence to the islands was not worth the effort (especially considering the fact that holding Nargundush was hard enough).

Recently, with the ascension of the merchant class, the economy of the Aurander Islands has become intermingled with that of Cheraî – diluting their independence significantly.

• Rarycot – Quasi-independent Human trading town (nearest town in Cheraî)
• Nargundush – Largest city in Northern Cheraî
