After the death of Manorgrax and the experiences with “The Dragon's Breath”, the party discuss what to do next. Allie casts a Commune spell to ask the following questions:

• Q: Will the teleport circle in Mosamor Marsh take us to the jungle where Sertrous is?

  • A: No
• Q: Should we allow Kevin to use the Id Portrait?
  • A: Yes
• Q: Is it your wish that we accept a compromise with the “House of Pain”?
  • A: Yes
• Q: Did Arcana bring about the destruction of Manorgrax?
  • A: No
• Q: Are Heilli and Likami the “Two who are one”?
  • A: No
• Q: Are the Two who are one in this party?
  • A: No

With this information, the party decides to team up with Kevin Arcana. They try to use the crystal ball to locate the Dragonslayer, but are unsuccessful, so they travel to Kingsholm to use the scrying pool they found earlier. With that, they locate the Dragonslayer (coincidentally in Kingsholm) and recruit him to join them on a trip to Mosamor Marsh.

Once in the marsh, they meet Mosargrax – who opens the teleport circle and flys through it to a spot near Teleme where they fight a group of Yuan-Ti performing a ritual to summon Sertrous.

Kevin Arcana uses the Id Portrait – which releases the Demon Lord Gkîlarzzá (known as the “King of Pain”), who then defeats Sertrous.
