Haketoft is governed by the priests of the village temple (to Frey, the Norse god of fertility and the sun)
Notable Places
- The Guildhall: An impressive building of half-timbered walls, once an aristocrat's manor. It contains a large meeting hall and several smaller rooms and is shared amongst several local merchant guilds.
- The Shrine of Freya: A stone niche enshrining a statue of a falcon, the idol of Freya, Norse goddess of fertility and love, surrounded by an arched peristyle.
- The Crimson Purse: A heroic elven inn, decorated with exotic weapons and armor.
