Manorgrax arrives in Stillsquall and sends messengers to each of the party members to have them meet him in town at “The Sand Crab” tavern.

He tells them the following:

• His divinations have gone black.
• The last thing he saw was the Yuan-Ti building a magic circle somewhere in Mosamor.
• He suspects they are readying some kind of epic ritual.
• He believes that Kevin Arcana has a role to play (but he is vague about this as he is uncertain of the details).
• He discusses Mosargrax's attack last year.
• He discusses the Oathstone and its role in the Lizard Wars.

In regards to Mosargrax, he says, “Power is always a delicate balance. Even beings such as us have enemies. To reveal our presence with no reason is to risk bringing chaos and death into this realm. Even though Mosargrax's hearts is black, she prefers to rule in secret than to wage endless war to maintain her control.”

Finally, he talks about the Oathstone – and the balance of power that teeters now that it's been destroyed. He is certain that his stalemate with Mosargrax was the only thing preventing a new Lizard War.

At this point, the Dragonslayer shows up. He enters the tavern, approaches the party and asks them to send the dragon outside. Manorgrax does not see him – and is a bit confused. Manorgrax goes outside, where Heilli mind links with him so that he can “see” his opponent. The dragon and the slayer begin a massive aerial battle – leaving the party to protect the village and save the innocents from the fires that break out.

In the end, though, the slayer is victorious and Manorgrax is slain!

Kevin Arcana shows up and teleports the party to an ancient Dwarven temple that contains “The Charm of Making”. Salamandars, Golems, and Wraiths oh my! Freyrik invokes the charm (after several failed attempts) and summons “The Dragon's Breath”. Once the party is exposed to it, they all have visions.
