| Allie and Ash's mother, Addrynvan, met Alfgeirr while fighting one of the many wars with the goblins. During the battle, Alfgeirr's only child, Eitri, was killed and Addrynvan felt responsible so she promised to marry Alfgeirr and bear him a son to replace the one that was killed while under her protection. Alleraia was their first child and it took many years for Addrynvan to bear Alfgeirr the promised son. Instead Allie's first toy was a wooden sword and from her earliest days she was taught sword fighting and her mother's code of ethics. Thiss code of ethics includes showing your enemy no mercy, looking out for the helpless, maintaining the laws of the kingdom.
