==== The Sea of Sand ====

A vast desert in the center of the main continent.  In both the first and the 
second ages, this area was the center of civilization in the world.  After the 
[[end_of_the_world|meteor strike that ended the second age]], though, the 
climate changed and the area became a desert.  Descendants of the original 
[[Arral Empire]] (now known as the [[Fadil]]) remain in the area, but have 
devolved into a nomadic lifestyle.

Farther west, along the coastal region is [[Mosaî]], also known as "The Hidden
Empire".
